To the Ends of the Earth
William Dewey Loudermilk

Am I real?  Am I real?
I can think and I can feel but still my life seems so surreal
run for months until I must rest and even then I’m put to the test
to cram all I can see into my life just like a dream

Who are you?  Who are you?
To treat me like I don’t exist because I’ve lived the life that you missed
you’ve got your office, computer too, but I’ll just take the ocean blue
‘Cause life is all about freedom, no wonder I choose to run

Colorful coral and beautiful fish, such a great Christmas gift
mountains rising from the sea, and glaciers calving in front of me
Run, run, run to the ends of the Earth, looking for the spot to surf
I love how my life has come and I hope you like this song, but ...

I don’t care!  I don’t care!
What you think of me, because I want to be free
Expand your mind for a riddle to solve, but leave me alone because I want to evolve
but your way of life is destroying my home, and that is something I can’t condone

So join me my brothers for our global cause
and maybe we’ll find the universal God
the powers that created reality and gave me my mind so I could see
that we are faced with a choice, for the future I am a voice
but the path is hard for we must change for the future is not the same
I dream of life, love and peace, not of death, destruction and greed

What is next?  What is next?
For us to evolve, we’ve got some problems to solve
Pollution, corruption and greed, when was the last time you felt free?
Or are you just a slave, to that dollar until your grave?

Am I real?  Am I real?
